The Inaugural Black History Month Kick-Off Salute Honoring the Original Florida Highwaymen
The City of Orlando, Onyx Magazine and ZORA! Festival 2013 celebrate Black History Month by honoring the work and lives of the Original Florida Highwaymen, 26 African American landscape artists.
The Florida Highwaymen created a body of work of over 200,000 paintings which were sold door-to-door to businesses and individuals throughout Florida from the mid-1950s through the 1980s.
